British World Champion boxer Carl Froch is a bingo lover: he's opted to spend some of his spare time at his local Top Spot social club playing bingo with his mother rather than attending any fancy soiree. (Hopefully he's easier on the bingo dauber than he is on his opponents!) Froch has publicly admitted that while defending his WBC super-middleweight title doesn’t faze him, the red carpet is enough to make him feel supremely uneasy.

Carl Froch is currently the UK’s sole boxing World Champion since Ricky Hatton was knocked off his pedestal in the Manny Pacquiao fight in Las Vegas.  The bingo-inclined Froch is now hoping however that as he has ‘proved himself’ to be a worthy champ that his next fight will take place on home turf.
