Casino Robber Arrested In LA

Bad Wig, Bad Idea, Bad Boy

Listen up would-be casino robbers: Despite what the cool and swath clan of Oceans 11 through 13 may have led you to believe, crime doesn’t pay.
In fact, crime can be flat out tacky. Just ask 25 year old Rolando Luis Ramos, who was arrested last Saturday at a hotel near Los Angeles International Airport sporting a sketchy looking wig after spending a good chunk of change on drugs, hotels, food and women.
The suspected ringleader of a $1.5 million Indian casino heist, an inside job in which 10 workers were hogtied Thursday, has been arrested, authorities said yesterday.
Rolando Luis Ramos was a video security technician at the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto. After his arrest, he was booked for investigation of strong-arm robbery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and battery, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Dennis E. Gutierrez said in a statement. Police said they had recovered all but $200,000 of the stolen money.
