Of the 681 registered players all vying for the AUD $2,000,000.00, that is the Aussie Millions, there can only be one winner. It all came down to two native Aussies for the coveted Golden Bracelet spot: Stewart Scott took first with AA over Peter Rho's AJ os.
Our $14,000.00 package winner and loyal Tower Gaming player, Oleg1986 is back from Australia and is excited to share his final moments at the infamous Aussie Millions Tournament with everyone...
Yesterday, I was unfortunately eliminated in the 5th blind level.
My table was pretty aggressive. I had between 20-25k Chips the whole time.
Sadly, I often missed the flop and got many preflop re-raises.
In my final hand I had AQ and lost a preflop all in against 99.
The blind level was 200/400 Antes 50. Co raised to 1,5k, I re-raised to 5k after some considerations he moved all in with 19k...I called his all in because I didn't give him the QQ-AA, I thought he would slow play that kind of monster.
Flop comes: 8QK
I was totally happy and thought I would win...
Turn: 7
Good!!!
River: 9
Oh my God!
I would have a really nice 40k stack and could work with it...but the River brings me to an end.
It was a really good experience playing against the world best poker players! Scotty Nguyen played with me at the same table! Really cool guy, talks really big. :) After I was eliminated he shook my hand and cheers'd me.
