Washing (Card Washing)

A card shuffling technique where the dealer spreads the cards on the table face down and then proceeds to mix them around with his hands flat in a face-washing-like action before gathering them up and performing a more normal shuffle. Card washing is intended to remove any consistencies in the sequencing among the cards that new decks of cards have, or that were produced in play prior to the present shuffle. In standard table poker the cards are washed after every hand before they are subjected to a more conventional shuffling. In blackjack and baccarat, the cards are washed when old decks are taken out of play and fresh new decks brought in to replace them.

Way Ticket

In Keno, a ticket marked with two or more groups of chosen numbers with these groups of numbers circled.  For example [4,5,6] and [26,27,28] and [69,70,71] - if any of one number in the group hits, you're given credit.

Whale

Casino players that wager very large sums of money sometimes thousands, or tens of thousands.

A card that can be used as any card to complete your hand in a card game.

Wired Cards

In a game of poker, being delt consecutive cards the constitute a pair, trips, or 4 of a kind.

"The dealer hooked me up with Wired Jacks which is a decent starting hand."

Wong (Wonging, Wonger)

A technique of counting cards in blackjack to determine when the game has turned to the players advantage.

"They kicked that person out because he was Wonging the blackjack tables.
