Poker 5 is Mac Compatible!

Apple lovers no longer need the Java Client to play on Tower Gaming! As long as you're running Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, you'll enjoy very similar features that the Windows download version offers.

Game Settings

Changes are instantaneous! With the new Poker 5 software, any changes you make to your Settings take effect instantly! 4-coloured suits, avatars, and more are all changeable on the fly! Find the Settings option right beside your username in the Top Right corner of the lobby.

Ring, Sit and Go, or Tournament play, the enhanced filter system allows you to instantly find exactly what you're looking for. Keep your settings where you like them for quick access to what you're accustomed to playing. Change your settings quickly and easily at any time.

Pick your Seat from the Lobby!

Preview any table, in real time, from the lobby and pick the empty seat you prefer! Opening individual tables to pick your seat and check information is a pain, so we eliminated it! Find a table, get your info, and pick the empty seat you want... from the lobby!

Player Notes

Note takers celebrate! From the lobby table preview, you're able to see players seated at the tables and any notes you may have left! If there's a player you've previously noted on before - and they're playing at a table you're previewing - you can read the notes before you pick your seat. Right from the lobby!

Ante Tournaments

All new ante tournaments will spice up Poker 5. This new format commits all players to the pot before the flop, whether you decide to play in the hand or not. This new format makes for some very exciting and efficient tournaments.

Sit and Go Queues

Not the same old wait. Instead of searching for the number of occupied seats to get a quick game going, you're only going to find one type of each Sit'n'Go game at every buy-in level. Reason? Quicker games! Once a particular game is full (i.e. '$11 Double or Nothing') that game starts and another $11 Double or Nothing opens for registration. Now that's efficiency.

Q) Where can I find the private tournaments tab, and how do I create them?

A) We will be happy to set up your Private Tournaments. Simply email support@towergaming.com and our Tournament Team will be in touch with you to assist in setting it up!

Q) Why does the lobby not always show my account balance?

A) If you wish to see your account balance while playing, simply click on 'show account balance' in the top right corner of the lobby when you first log in.

Q) Where can I see how many players are seated?

A) Although it is not displayed in the download client, you can simply visit www.TowerGaming.com to view the amount of online players.

Q) The waiting lists are gone?

A) Yes they are. The benefit to this is: You'll never see a full table. All tables you see in the lobby are ALL AVAILABLE! Not to mention the likelihood of short-stackers and other dubious strategists are left to target open tables, not existing games. Better for you!

Q) Where's my Hand History?

A) For the Download Client:

In Vista: C:\Users\$USER-PROFILE$\AppData\Local\P5\TowerGaming\handhistory

In XP: C:\Documents and Settings\$USER-PROFILE$\Local Settings\Application Data\P5\TowerGaming\handhistory

FOR WINDOWS 7 the answer is: C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\P5\Towergaming

On MacOS the "logs" and "handhistory" directories reside in $HOME/Library/Logs/

In the Java client Hand Histories are now also saved on players hard drives and they can be found in the following paths:

PC: \%USERPROFILE%\P5JavaClientSettings\handhistory

MAC: /Users//P5JavaClientSettings/handhistory/

If you're searching for your Hand History files on Vista remember: In order to see the AppData directory, you have to go to your folder options and "Show hidden files and folders". Likewise, the files are ".txt " suffix now, not the database files you're used to.

Q) How do I get my Hand ID during game play?

A) Getting your hand number while playing at the table is easy! Simply click the "Hand History" button in the bottom left corner of the table window, and you will instantly get a pop-up that has the hand number in the title bar.
