Value

A player wants his or her opponents to call your bet. As in, they bet for value.

"Mike bet for Value during that hand."

Variance

The measure of ups and downs that a player's bankroll goes through.

"My bankroll encountered a large amount of Variance tonight."

Verbal Bet

An oral bet.

"I placed a Verbal Bet ."

Visible Cards

Cards that are dealt face up to each player.

"The Visible Cards helped my opponent make a full-house."
