Playing Online Poker from the Web Browser
Playing online is a little different from the card-room. We're here to help you smooth out a few distinctions.
1. Why can't I see the list of tables? All I get is a gray square.
This usually means that you need to clear your "cache" (temporary internet files) and that your computer lacks the latest version of the Java plug-in. You can download the Java plug-in by going to the Java homepage, choosing your operating system from the list and clicking "Download."
2. Why do I see "ghost cards" on the table?
You might be seeing these "ghost card" images from previous hands as you do not have the latest version of the Java plug-in for your web-browser. You can download the Java plug-in by going to the Java homepage, choosing your operating system from the list and clicking "Download.
3. I clicked on "Raise". Why were my cards folded?!
You could have been timed-out of a hand. It is not uncommon that players sometimes experience lags from their internet service providers, and you do not see your turn coming to you until it is actually over.
It is unlikely that our system will automatically check/fold a player's hands. However, we will be happy to investigate the incident further for you if you can provide us the hand number or a specific date and time, with the description of your pocket and board cards.
