Lobby FAQs

Where are the preferences?

To make it easier for players to get the preferences they desire we have separated the lobby settings from the game settings. You can click on 'settings' to change general settings, in the top right corner of the lobby. Any game play settings you wish to change can be done directly at the table.

Where is my Session Browser, and do I still have my statistics from the previous version of the software?

We have received many suggestions from players over the years in how the saving of hand histories could be improved. With the software you can view your hand history directly at the table, and every hand where you are dealt hole cards is recorded in a text file on your computer. Each new session gets its own text file and to ensure the files do not become too large, a new file will be created once the text file exceeds 4MB. These changes allow for the hand history to load a lot faster, and it will take up less memory on your computer.

The statistics from the previous version of the software are still on your hard drive as well. However, you will need an external program like a 3rd party solution (PokerTracker, PokerOffice, SQLite database, etc) to be able to access them.

On Windows the hand history files are stored in
"C:\Documents and Settings\windowsuser\Local Settings\ApplicationData\pokersite\logs

The hand history is stored in a directory called "handhistory" which itself resides in the logs directory. Again, these files are numbered in order of age with higher numbers being older, and again files will change names as they get older.

Why did you create two separate tournament lobbies?

To make it easier for players to find the tournaments they wish to play, there is now a separate lobby just for Sit and Go tournaments.

The settings in the lobby do not include game settings like the previous version of the software, where can I change my game settings?

How does the table preview and direct seating work?

This is one of the coolest additions to the software. You will not be able to see one list of all the tournaments together as the Sit and Go tournaments and Regular tournaments each have their own lobby. However, within each lobby you can see the list of all tournaments in that particular lobby.

Where can I see the log files?

On Windows the log files are stored in
"C:\Documents and Settings\windowsuser\Local Settings\Application Data\pokersite\logs

The most important log file is the "program.log"-file. It is numbered "program-1.log, program-2.log, program-3.log, etc.

The newest file will always be "program.log" and older files will be numbered with the number increasing by age.
