Where can I download Tower Gaming?

To download Tower Gaming is quite simple. Go to the link attached below, click on the download button at the top of the screen and simply follow the prompts. http://member.towergaming.com/online-poker

You can also consult our Tower Gaming download guide.

Can I play through a web browser?

Yes, you can play online using the Java version of Tower Gaming. Java is a computer program that allows you to play Poker direct from the internet without the need to download additional software. Most computers have Java already installed so you'll probably be able to play straight away.

For the best performance, we recommend you use the latest version of Internet Explorer.

If you don't already have Java, you can download it from the Java website.

Why do I see "ghost cards" on the table?

You might be seeing these "ghost card" images from previous hands as you do not have the latest version of the Java plug-in for your web-browser. If you don't already have Java, you can download it at the following location: http://www.java.com/en/

What is the difference between playing from the Web-Browser and through the Download?

It is simply a matter of preference. Playing through your Web-Browser (Java) means you can play from any computer as you do not have to install our software. The download version contains some additional features such as logging your own stats, keeping player notes, etc. The first time you use the download version, you will be asked to download and install it. But then, you will be able to access it from your programs list.

What Operating Systems do you Support?

You can play from Windows 98, 2000, NT, XP, Vista, OS X (Mac) and even Linux.

I have problems playing your games after I upgraded Windows XP with "Service Pack 2". What should I do?

Your Windows XP security settings should have increased after upgrading to "Service Pack 2". Please try to access our website directly and confirm that you want to continue when prompted with, "You are accessing a site with non-secure items. Do you want to continue? (Yes/No.)"

I need help installing the download software.

Please see our guide to downloading and installing the Tower Gaming software.

Tables are closing unexpectedly! What's going wrong?

You may be accidentally hitting the "close" button in the top right hand corner of your tables. Because the action is stalled until the end of the hand, you may not always realize you have clicked "close."

I clicked on "Raise". Why were my cards folded?

You could have been timed-out of a hand. It Is not uncommon that players sometimes experience lag from their internet service providers and you might not have seen your turn due to lag.

My Client isn't working. What can I do?

If you are playing from the client, we recommend you uninstall and then reinstall the program through the add/remove programs in the Windows Control Panel as well as removing the Software installation folder from your Hard Drive (Usually C:\Program Files\TowerGaming.com)

If you already have stats, hand histories or player notes saved which you do not wish to lose, we would recommend making a copy of these database files elsewhere on your Hard Drive (i.e. My Documents), which can then be pasted back into their folders after the fresh install. You can find these by going to "My Computer," clicking on "C-Drive" and "Program Files" then opening the "Tower Gaming" folder where you will see your player notes saved under your nickname. The statistics and hand histories are saved in several database files in the software installation directory under C:\Program Files\TowerGaming\Resources\Databases.
